A Message From Chris Ramon, President & CEO:
One year ago, the Eaton Fire tore through our community, bringing fear and uncertainty for thousands pets and the people who love them. As animals arrived at Pasadena Humane in urgent need of care, one thing became immediately clear: we were not facing this moment alone. Our community showed up with compassion, generosity, and an outpouring of support that carried us through those frightening days.
We continue to be deeply moved by the kindness you showed then, and by the care you’ve continued to give in the months since. Your support helped provide lifesaving medical treatment, safe shelter, and comfort to animals affected by the fire. Animals like Skinny Minnie, who arrived with painful burns and needed intensive medical care to survive, received a second chance because people like you stepped forward when it mattered most.
As we mark the anniversary of the Eaton Fire, we’re filled with gratitude and with a renewed commitment to be ready when our community needs us again. Your gift today helps ensure we can respond quickly to emergencies like this one while also providing compassionate care to animals all year long. And right now, your impact can go even further.

Thanks to a generous offer from DreamWorks, who stood with us during the fire, every gift made by January 11 will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $50,000. Together, we can honor this moment not just by remembering, but by preparing — and by continuing to show up for animals when they need us most.
